According to Reuters, this shift is attributed to a weak start in the year for Apple stocks due to growing concerns about demand. Meanwhile, Microsoft stocks have been on the rise, thanks in part to its investment in OpenAI, particularly in the development of ChatGPT, positioning itself as a leader in the field of generative artificial intelligence.

While Microsoft shares closed 0.5% higher, reaching a market capitalization of $2.859 trillion, Apple shares closed 0.3% lower, with a market capitalization of $2.886 trillion.
